How many choices do you make in a day? I’ve tried counting it up and the number gets quite high. Let’s think about a few………

What time will I wake up? Do I hit the snooze? How will I greet the day, happy, sad, angry, disgruntled? Do I make up the bed? What’s for breakfast? Do I eat? What toothbrush? What toothpaste? Shower or bath? How do I do my hair today? Gel? Makeup? Perfume? Purse or bag? What to pack for lunch? Go out to lunch? How much cash do I need? Drive or walk or bus? Chores before work? My nephew brought home a turtle earlier this week. This wasn’t a surprise. In fact, I (uncharacteristically) agreed to letting the reptile live with us several months ago…with the stipulation that we name it Crush. (If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, explaining it won’t help.)  It was a nice compromise, since I wouldn’t give in to getting a dog.

I love my friends. They make me happy. They’re a lot of fun. Sometimes I think “my friends are great, I’ll always have them.” But I won’t. Not really.
