With every bite prevention is always the best answer. With insects there are many products on the market and lately we’ve found that keeping a dryer sheet in your pocket is a deterrent, or skin so soft from Avon or some sun screens or even vicks vaporub, who knew? So after prevention comes infection prevention and itch and pain relief, here are some helps:

Flies and mosquitoes – wash thoroughly with soap and water then apply an antiseptic. To help control inflammation moisten your skin and rub an aspirin tablet right over the bite. Do not do this if you have an aspirin sensitivity or allergy

Home Remedies – Bed Wetting

Almost every kid out grows bed wetting. Bed wetting can be caused by a kid who is a heavy sleeper, has a weak bladder or an undersized bladder. No kid wants to wet the bed, so be patient and kind and let time take it’s course.

Be realistic – dont praise and don’t punish. Just change the bed and move on. Understand that kids don’t wet the bed to punish you!

If the child is older it may help to arrange the room so he can change the sheets himself when needed. Also set out clean sheets, pajamas

Obviously clinical depression should be handled by a doctor or therapist, but mild depression can be helped by a little home made HEALTHY pick me up!
