Wheat Waffles

These are super yummy and fairly healthy. It's also a great way to introduce wheat to your family

Ingredients

Recipe

1 cup(s) white flour
1 cup(s) whole wheat flour
4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 tablespoon(s) sugar or honey
2/3 cup(s) non fat dry milk
1 3/4 cup(s) water
4 tablespoon(s) oil
2 eggs

Wheat Waffles Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, stir in remaining ingredients. Bake according to waffle iron directions.
  2. If you would like a lighter waffle, seperate eggs, stir egg yolks into batter and whip egg whites until peaked then fold into batter.
  3. This is good with syrup, great with honey butter, and excellent with whipped cream and peaches!
