| 1 cup(s) brown sugar |
| 1/4 cup(s) water |
| 1/2 cup(s) corn syrup |
| 4 egg whites |
| 2 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
Brown Sugar Icing Directions
- Mix water and corn syrup and brown sugar in medium saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil til syrup drops like hair from spoon
- Beat egg whites til stiff
- Slowly pour the hot syrup into egg whites, beating constantly
- Beat until icing holds it's peaks, then blend in vanilly
- Store in the fridge
- Makes about 6 cups
