Snickers Bars Directions
- For the caramel:
- Mix 3 cup sugar, 2 cups corn syrup, 2 cups whipping cream and the butter, stir to dissolve. Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage 242 degrees. Usually we stir for 5 minutes and then let it cook stirring occasionally to 242.
- When it reaches temperature remove from heat and add 1 tsp salt and vanilla and the peanuts, stir well
- Pour into a greased cookie sheet 15x10. Caramel should not be hard but able to hold its shape.
- Peanut Butter Nougat:
- Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 cup
