| 4 eggs |
| 1 tablespoon(s) vanilla |
| 1 1/2 cup(s) flour |
| 1/2 cup(s) sugar |
| 2 tablespoon(s) baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
Italian Donuts Directions
- In a large bowl, beat ricotta cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Beat until just combined. Let batter stand for 30 minutes
- Drop by rounded teaspoons into hot oil and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove donuts from oil, drain on paper towels, cool completely, roll donuts in powdered sugar, granulated sugar or cinnamon sugar
- Makes 3 doz
