  • 1/4 cup(s) buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup(s) cold margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup(s) whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) finely chopped walnuts

Cinnamon Walnut Scones Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and then cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine eggs and cream; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Turn onto a floured surface; gently pat into a 7 inch circle about 3/4 inch thick. Cut into eight wedges. Seperate wedges; place on a lightly greased baking sheet, brush tops with buttermilk.
  2. let rest 15 minutes. Bake at 450 for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown
