  • 1/4 cup(s) chopped cucumber
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped napa cabbage
  • 1/2 cup(s) cornflake crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sliced almonds
  • 3 cup(s) oil, for frying
  • 1 egg
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) mayo
  • 3 cup(s) chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup(s) milk
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup(s) flour

Oriental Chicken Salad - Applebee's Directions

  1. Blend together honey, rice wine vinegar, mayo, dijon mustard and sesame oil. put in fridge til ready to use
  2. Preheat oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. You want the oil at about 350 degrees
  3. In a small bowl beat the egg and milk together.
  4. In another bowl combine the flour, cornflake crumbs and salt and pepper.
  5. Cut chicken breast into several long thin strips. Dip the strips int he egg mixture, and then into the flour mixture, coating completely. Add chicken strips tot he hot oil and fry for 3-4 min or until cooked through and coating is dark golden brown
  6. Prepare the salad: Combine the romaine, red cabbage, napa cabbage, carrots, onions and cucumber
  7. Add chicken pieces on top and sprinkle with almonds.
  8. Serve with the dressing
