Hot orange punch
This drink is good for cold winter nights, but mostly in our family we refer to this as Happy Juice or feel better juice! We make it when someone has a bad cold and they sip on it for days and they feel better.

2 cup(s) sugar
2 cup(s) water
2 cup(s) orange juice
3/4 cup(s) lemon juice
8 cup(s) water
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 teaspoon(s) almond extract

Hot orange punch Directions

  1. combine the sugar and 2 cups water, bring to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes
  2. Then add all the rest of the ingredients and heat through, serve hot
  3. Ok so this is how we really do it!
  4. I buy frozen orange juice concentrate, make it up according to directions and I use the entire amount in this recipe. I don't care for almond extract so I add a little extra vanilla instead. Yummy and comforting on a sore throat and stuffy head
